Where to put your review plaque so customers actually use it
A review plaque only works if the customer sees it at the right moment. Where to put it depending on your type of business.

A review plaque only works if the customer sees it and uses it at the right moment. Where you put it matters as much as having it.

The counter or the till
The most natural place: the customer already has their phone to hand exactly while paying, at the highest point of satisfaction if the experience went well.
The table, in restaurants
A small plaque on the table, visible but not intrusive, lets the customer use it at the end of the meal, without anyone having to ask directly.
The exit, in shops and services
Near the door works well for businesses where the customer comes in, sorts something quickly and leaves: garages, pharmacies, convenience shops.
Where NOT to put it
- On a high or barely visible wall, where nobody notices it.
- Hidden behind other objects on the counter.
- In areas where the customer is in a hurry to leave, such as a long queue.
One place per business type, not several at once
Start with a single well-chosen spot rather than spreading several plaques around the premises. One visible plaque in the right place works better than three in mediocre ones.
